Julie Gonzalo is an Argentinean American actress who was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She and her family moved to the United States and settled in Miami, Florida, where she spent most of her growing up years. She first worked as a teen model, but soon after she studied acting and dance upon entering high school. After graduation, she moved to Los Angeles and pursued an acting career.

In 2001, Julie Gonzalo had a role in the film “The Penny Game,” and this was followed by a major supporting role in the film “I'm With Lucy” opposite Gael Garcia Bernal and Monica Potter in 2002.

In 2003, Julie Gonzalo appeared in the TV movie “Exit 9,” and she later moved on to play a role in the film “Special.” She also made guest appearances on shows such as “Greetings from Tucson” as Kim Modica, later the same year she starred opposite Lindsay Lohan in “Freaky Friday.” She wrapped the year up with a guest appearance on the series “NCIS.”

In 2004, Julie Gonzalo had a guest role in the show “Drake & Josh.” She later starred opposite Justin Long in the movie “Dodgeball- A True Underdog Story.” Her other film and television credits during this time include “Christmas with the Kranks,” and “A Cinderella Story.”

In 2005, Julie Gonzalo had a supporting role in the romantic comedy “Must Love Dogs” which stars Diane Lane and Dermot Mulroney. She later had an important role in the final season of the show “Veronica Mars” as Parker Lee. When the show ended in 2006, she began to work behind the camera and produced movies such as “Pink Eye” and “Silent Night.”

In 2007, Julie Gonzalo starred in the film “Cherry Crush,” and had her first Spanish-language film, “Ladron que roba a ladron.” She also played the as the receptionist in “Saving Angelo.”

In 2008, Julie Gonzalo had her most notable role in television, as Maggie Dekker in the series “Eli Stone.”
