Julie Gonzalo is an Argentinean-American actress who became known in the ABC series “Eli Stone” as Maggie Dekker. She also had an important role in the final season of the critically acclaimed series “Veronica Mars.”

She began her career as an actress during the early 2000s after graduating from high school. She first had a brief role in the film “The Penny Game” in 2001, and this was followed by a supporting role opposite Monica Potter and Gael Garcia Bernal in the film “I'm With Lucy” in 2002.

The following year, Julie Gonzalo had a role in the TV movie “Exit 9” as Brooke, and this was followed by a major part in the film “Special” as Vicki. She also had a two-episode appearance on the series “Greetings from Tucson” as Kim Modica, and soon after she starred opposite Lindsay Lohan, Jamie Lee Curtis and Chad Michael Murray in the Disney remake of “Freaky Friday.”

Later the same year, Julie Gonzalo made a guest appearance on the series “NCIS,” and in 2004 she had a one-episode stint on “Drake & Josh” as Tiffany Margolis. She also starred alongside Justin Long in the film “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story” as Amber. Later the same year, she played the role of Blair Krank in “Christmas with the Kranks,” and became part of the documentary “Despierta America!” and “Premios juventud 2004.” She also worked once again with Chad Michael Murray and Hillary Duff in the romantic comedy “A Cinderella Story.”

In 2005, Julie Gonzalo starred in the romantic comedy “Must Love Dogs” opposite Diane Lane and Dermot Mulroney, and the following year she had a role in the hit TV series “Veronica Mars” as Parker Lee. Also in 2006, Julie Gonzalo worked as a film producer for the movie “Pink Eye,” and in 2007 she had her second film project, “Silent Night.”

Julie Gonzalo continued acting in front of the camera by starring as Desiree Thomas in the film “Cherry Crush,” opposite Jonathan Tucket. In the same year she starred in her first Spanish language film, “Ladron que roba a ladron” as Gloria, and as the receptionist in “Saving Angelo.”

In 2008, Julie Gonzalo starred in the ABC show “Eli Stone,” and as well made guest appearances on “Entertainment Tonight” and “Current TV.” In 2009, she starred in the movie “Day One.”
